I promised myself I wouldn't re-read books this year, because I'm trying to push myself, but I want to read The Stolen Heir and The Prisoner's Throne and I don't remember these books well enough to just jump into them.

I wish I was reading this for the first time because the twists are so good. I'd forgotten some of them.

Jude is a frustrating and flawed human in a world of faeries. I remember the first time I read this it took me a long time to really warm up to her character. But I get now. She seriously overcorrects.

And that ending. Wow. I'm still impressed with how it played out.
