This is the most validated I've ever felt while reading a book about ADHD. And I've read several. Mostly academic things written by people who don't actually have ADHD.
I would highly recommend this to those with ADHD and those who want to support those they know who have ADHD.
It's written in a very neurodivergent friendly way. I loved all the comments from others who are neurodivergent that the author had throughout the book because it brought community into the book which is part of the experience of being neurodivergent, finding the community.
I absolutely loved listening to the audiobook, which is read by the author. I felt like I was listening to her YouTube channel, which is how I heard about her book in the first place. Highly recommend listening to this especially because I feel like I need to have it playing on repeat.
